A LOCAL bus company has donated over £2,000 to Aberystwyth’s RNLI crew.

A total of £2,252 was donated to the RNLI by Mel Evans of Mid Wales Travel.

Over last two years Mid Wales Travel sold travel passes at the students union with £1 donation per sale to lifeboats.

They visited Aberystwyth RNLI lifeboat station and then Borth RNLI lifeboat station to present cheques of £1,126 to support their work of saving lives at sea.
