Council officials have named the Aberaeron pub fined £1,000 for serving alcohol and breaching Covid rules.
Ceredigion County Council said last week that a pub in Aberaeron had been fined for serving booze, but refused to say which pub citing data protection.
But they have now confirmed that the pub fined was the Black Lion in Aberaeron.
The Black Lion was seen by officers from the council’s Public Protection Team supplying alcohol and remaining open despite a Wales-wide ban on serving booze.
The fixed penalty notice was issued on 9 December by Ceredigion County Council. The licensee may discharge liability to conviction for the offence if the penalty is paid within 28 days.
