A MARVELLOUS mural has brought an iconic Aber view to the beer garden of a local wine bar.

Rummers Wine Bar’s garden now sports a colourful beach scene, complete with Aber’s leaping dolphins, thanks to artist - and zoo owner - Dean Tweedy.

The artwork was created by Rummers’ "friend, neighbour and regular customer" Dean, who also owns Borth Zoo.

He has recreated a scene encompassing Aberystwyth South Beach, complete with dolphins, the houses that line the coastline, the Castle grounds and monument, in the bottom of the beer garden at Rummers.

As well as being a zoo owner, Dean is also the owner of Marvellous Murals and the organiser of Borth Chalkfest.

Rummers owner Marcus Sedghi said: "His talents and efforts rank amongst the best and we’re proud to do business and support him, his businesses and his loved ones."

The owners added that the pub is currently working towards reopening responsibly and safely.
