A LLYN Peninsula holiday park is set to receive millions of pounds to offer guests an “all-action adventure village”.
Haven has announced that Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in Pwllheli will be receiving the “single largest investment in its history” to introduce a brand-new set of developments for spring 2019.
The holiday firm, which welcomed over 300,000 holidaymakers to the North Wales coastline in 2018, will be investing almost £100m across multiple sites in England, Scotland and Wales over the winter period.
This investment includes creating developments, across five holiday parks, that trial innovative new concepts for holidaymakers and holiday home owners.
Over the coming months, Hafan y Môr will be renovating their current outdoor activity area to introduce a “brand new all-action, multi-functional zone” known as ‘Dragon Lakes Adventure Village’.
This area will play host to a huge array of activities including Junior Segways and Segway Adventures, mini 4x4 safari driving experience, climbing wall, brand new boat hire, bungee trampolines, aerial adventure courses, a sand play area and a multi-use sports and games area.
The existing restaurant will be replaced with the ‘Coast House’ which brings together multiple dining options under one roof.
The Coast House will include a pub known as the ‘HMS Glendower’, that recognises the local area.
Holiday home owners will have a fully refurbished Owners’ Lounge (artist’s impression right) and garden, as well as their own exclusive restaurant, placing brand-new food and drink options right on their doorstep.
