A TYWYN-BASED company has scooped up four major accolades at a national awards show in Cardiff.
Brighter Foods won four awards, including the much sought after overall Wales Start-Up of the Year title.
The company, established in 2014, manufactures healthy, gluten-free and nutritionally controlled snacks and has become one of the fastest growing major employers in rural Wales.
On 16 September Brighter Foods representatives were present at the inaugural Wales Start-Up Awards hosted by BBC Wales news anchor Jamie Owen.
The awards, the first of their kind in Wales - recognised those companies and individuals who have made a significant impact on the Welsh economy over the last three years.
With over 250 entries received, the first ever Wales Start-Up Awards saw submissions from businesses throughout the whole of Wales across 14 categories, with each company also entered into an additional award based on their region.
As well as winning the overall award, the food company also claimed Rural Region Start Up of the Year, Food & Drink Start Up of the Year and Manufacturing Start Up of the Year.
