Madam,
With regards to the appeal over the Tree sculpture application for Borth beach, I have emailed a copy of my comments to the Planning Inspectorate.
In addition to details to the Planning Inspectorate I would like to say that, whatever the outcome, there will be people who are pleased and those who are not.
However, with questions raised as to who will be responsible for the cost of eventually taking down the tree, if it is given the go-ahead, those in favour of the tree should be asking how long a return in time would justify the large proposed expense.
I hope my comments to the Inspectorate are comprehensive enough to enlighten them to any health and safety aspects which I have not seen raised before.
Yours etc,
Phil Turner-Wright, Dol-y-Bont.
