AN ANNUAL osprey festival is taking place this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife will be opening its doors to twitchers and bird enthusiasts keen to learn more about their feathered friends.
It has been another successful year for the Glaslyn ospreys who have raised three chicks to fledging this season.
The eldest chick ‘Z6’ first took flight last Sunday to the delight of the birds’ supervisors.
Alongside the newest additions to the Glaslyn family, visitors will also be able to enjoy talks form local organisations, wildlife walks, stalls and children’s activities.
