Round Table
EVERY year Aberaeron Round Table holds a fundraising event to raise money for various charities and local organisations.
Last year they raised over £2,300 towards Macmillan Cancer.
This year the nominated appeal is more local and more pressing to the local community, The Emergency First Response Vehicle fund in Aberaeron.
The Town’s Improvements Committee need to raise at least £20,000 towards the cost of this vehicle which offers a critical service in the time of need.
This event takes place on Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 September.
They would appreciate any donations towards this year’s appeal either by sending a cheque payable to Aberaeron Round Table and post to Mr E Morgan, Glyn Rhosyn, Wellington Street, Aberaeron SA46 0BG with your name, address and postcode or visit www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/eifionmorgan

WINNERS this week were Dai Hayes and John Valentine, followed by joint second Jenny Harris and Sally Davies, and Herbie Rowley and Nigel Symons Jones.
All three pairs made brave slam bids on two boards.
On board 17, the bidding took only two bids (1NT-6H!) and the lead determined whether an overtrick was made.
The slam on board 24 was only found by Herbie and Nigel in a lengthier auction.
Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.50pm.
Newcomers are eagerly welcomed.
