THE March meeting proved to be a long but interesting one as the speaker, David Coleman, gave a talk with slides on Cuba, which he had recently visited.

Members agreed that it was a truly fascinating talk, showing a side of Cuba which is rarely in the news such as its free schools, universities and health care for everybody.

It was also a very beautiful country, David’s slides showed.

The monthly business took quite some time as there was a lot to discuss.

Refreshments were by Val and Betty and the raffle was won by Brenda.
