St Mary’s Women’s Fellowship

At the meeting on 19 November, 10 members attended, with Jessie opening with the Lord’s Prayer. They had a craft-based meeting led by Anne Vaughan Jones, who instructed members how to make Christmas crackers.

Everyone had an excellent session making crackers for the festive season, and were inspired to continue with the craft. Jessie gave the vote of thanks to Anne for such an interesting evening, and Lillian won the raffle.

Twelve members attended the 26 November meeting and they all had a lovely meal at the Steakhouse Restaurant, and thanked John, Ines, Callum and Kim. The meal was beautifully cooked and excellently served by pleasant staff, and everyone really enjoyed the festive fare, decorations and atmosphere.

Jessie reported back on the recent Christmas coffee morning, and she bought everyone a ’lucky dip present’, in appreciation for their help to make the event a success.

Next meeting will be the annual carol singing evening on 17 December.
