It was reported that the Christmas tree had been erected in Talybont and that Cllr Steffan Jones had purchased more lights to put on it. On behalf of the council thanks was expressed to Stephen Williams, Llwyngiffri and Andrew Paganusi for helping the chairman and Cllrs Steffan Jones and Edward Griffiths for carrying out this work.
The clerk reported that she had received a report from the The Play Inspection Company regarding the inspection that was carried out by them on the two play parks and that she had sent everybody a copy on e-mail.
She reported further that some matters of medium risk arose in the report and that the rest were of low risk or very low risk.
Cllr Edward Williams was thanked for taking down the tyre that was dangerous in the new play park very quickly.
A discussion took place regarding the state of the wooden structures in the old play park and it was agreed to ask Gwynedd Council if it would be possible to dispose of these on the grounds of health and safety and also the wooden structure that is by the bridge in Talybont as that one had gone rotten.
