Clwb y Ddôl

MEMBERS and friends made an early start for their summer outing to Hereford on 30 August.

It was a sunny morning and the countryside looked completely recovered after the recent hot weather.

After stopping at Penybont for coffee, everyone went their different ways after reaching Hereford.

Some visited the cathedral, others, museums and there were plenty of shops for the rest.

And to round off the trip, a most enjoyable meal had been arranged at the Trump Inn, Eardisley.

Tom Allday thanked Frances Fenwick for arranging such a wonderful day out.

He also wished Allan and Carol Brookfield well as they are soon to be leaving the area having supported Clwb y Ddôl for many years.

The raffle was won by Jeremy Barnes.

Just before dark, they arrived safely back at base, thanks to driver Stephen.
