Clwb Croeso
THEY resumed their meetings on Tuesday, 12 September, at the Porth Hotel at 2pm, after the summer break.
The meeting was opened by the chairman, Mary Williams who extended a warm welcome to all.
Special greetings were given to two new members, Ellie Clarke and Neil Johnson.
After the business of the day, Mary introduced our speakers for the afternoon.
They were addressed by two representatives from the Police Force, who gave a most interesting and informative talk on ‘How to avoid being scammed’ either by post, telephone, doorstep and internet. They also took questions from the floor.
Upon conclusion of this discussion, a vote of thanks was given by Nesta Evans.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 10 October, which will be a Thanksgiving Service to be held at the Porth Hotel at 2pm, with the collection being donated to ‘Welsh Blood Bikes’.
