Ladies Club

THE first meeting after the summer break is on Thursday, 28 September, at 7.45pm for an 8pm start at the Nanhoron Hotel. The subscription remains at £10. New members are very welcome. The following day, the club is holding a Macmillan coffee morning at Tegfan, Rhodfa’r Garn, from 10.30am until noon. Members who have promised to give cakes are asked to bring them to the meeting the evening before.

Drop-in flu clinic

A FLU clinic for patients registered at the Nefyn practice or Meddygfa Aelhaearn, Llanaelhaearn, will be held at Ty Doctor on 29 September from 9am to 3pm. If you are over 65 years old, or under 65 but suffer from a chronic illness, pregnant, or if you are a main carer, you are entitled to a free flu vaccination. No appointment is required.

Llyn Maritime Musuem

DURING September and October the museum will be holding an exhibition telling the story of the training ship Cleo.The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 4.00pm. Free entry.
