At the Thursday meeting, members had been asked to bring to the meeting, any images which needed attention to bring them up to competition quality.

Each image was then projected and Gareth Parry demonstrated how various computer programmes could be employed to remove unwanted blemishes or distracting elements, and how the main subject could be brought into prominence.

The next meeting, at the Memorial Hall on Thursday, 21 September, will be the AGM.

Members are asked to bring along any PDIs which they would like to be considered for forthcoming inter-club competitions.

Mike Jones will also be explaining how he produces his amazingly contrived images.
