ON Wednesday, 23 May, 37 members had lunch at Y Talbot.
They were disappointed that the advertised visit of Eirlys Morgan was cancelled due to a family bereavement, but George Gibbons came to the rescue and organised bingo.
After four games and two games of Irish bingo the afternoon ended with Calon Lan.
On 27 June there will be a trip to Llandovery, Ammanford, the Black Mountains and Llandeilo, with a meal in Lampeter on the way home.
The coach will be leaving the square in Tregaron at 11am.
Anyone who wasn’t at the lunch is asked to let Delyth know if they would like to go on that trip. Non-members are welcome, but the cost of the coach is £5.
Details of a further trip planned for July will be available later.

The walk starts from Maesnant Outdoor Centre and follows the Maesnant stream before joining the track up to Llyn Llygad Rheidol.
From here, they will ascend Pumlumon Fach, then a steep section to the summit of Pumlumon Fawr.
The walk is to last approximately four hours and is graded a moderate walk, covering 3.5 miles with an ascent of 450m/1472ft.
The group will meet outside Y Talbot at 9.30am and return to the Red Lion, Pontrhydfendigaid, afterwards for refreshments.
