A raffle and collection at the Dwyfor Meirionnydd Labour Party branch’s recent Miners’ Strike Memorial meeting has raised £75 for the South Gwynedd Food Bank.

A branch spokesperson said: “Many thanks to Ade from Y Felinheli who donated the t-shirt, and to Julia who added a plant as second prize.

“Donations of food and other essentials were also collected at the event and passed on to the local food bank.”
