A BLAENPORTH man has been banned from the road by magistrates for a year after admitting drug driving.
Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court heard last week that Ben Cox, of Rivendell, Bowls Road, was stopped by police while driving on a B4546 at Ridgeway in Cardigan on 1 January this year.
Tests showed that the 24-year-old had Benzolecogonine – the major metabolite of cocaine – in his system, exceeding the specified limit.
Magistrates disqualified Cox from driving for 12 months and fined him £320.
