AN ABERYSTWYTH man who assaulted a woman and damaged a front door has been ordered to abstain from alcohol for 90 days by magistrates.
Dean Phillips, who gave his address in court as c/o 30 Northgate Street, appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on 10 December.
Phillips, 29, had previously admitted assaulting Ffion Roberts in Aberystwyth on 16 November, as well as damaging a wooden front door belonging to Kevin Wall on the same day.
Magistrates made Phillips the subject of a community order to include rehabilitation and to abstain from consuming any alcohol for 90 days.
Phillips must also pay compensation of £100.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 as well as surcharge to fund victim services of £95.
