A Cardigan man will stand trial later this year after appearing in court to deny assaulting a police officer.
Mark Brook, of Flat 2, 11 Almora, Priory Street, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 6 March.
The 30-year-old denied assaulting Pc Thorpe at The Grosvenor in Cardigan on 17 March last year.
Brook is due to stand trial on the charges at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 9 May.
Magistrates remanded Brook on unconditional bail until that hearing date.
