A Trefechan man who drove whilst disqualified and without insurance has been fined by magistrates.

Oliver Ardizzone, of Flat 15, Maes y Mor, Pen Yr Angor, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 27 March.

The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance at The Starling Cloud in Aberystwyth on 17 February.

Ardizzone was fined £565 and handed six penalty points on his licence.

He must also pay £85 prosecution costs and a £226 victim surcharge.
