A DREFACH FELINDRE woman has been banned from the road for a year after admitting drink driving.

Dina Amer, of 30 Parc Puw, was stopped by police on Station Road in Newcastle Emlyn on 27 November, Llanelli magistrates heard on 16 December,

Roadside and police station breath tests showed that Amer, 37, had 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates disqualified Amer from driving for 12 months and fined her £120.

She must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
