A man has been fined by magistrates for the attempted theft of a bicycle in Penparcau.

Christopher Jones, now of Room 1, 4 Bell Street, Trecynon, Mid Glamorgan, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 5 February.

The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to the attempted theft of a bicycle in Penparcau on 17 December last year.

Jones was fined £120 and must pay £85 costs.
