AN Aberystwyth woman who has been battling a drug problem was found with heroin in her home, magistrates have heard.
Samantha Elizabeth Radford, of 21 Gray’s Inn Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a small amount of heroin found as police executed a search warrant at her home on 10 October.
But defence solicitor Alan Lewis told magistrates that Radford had suffered “a lapse” and was doing well in getting help from a range of agencies.
Helen Tench, prosecuting, said police had executed a search warrant at her home and found a small wrap which was confirmed by tests to be heroin.

Mr Lewis said Radford had successfully completed a drug rehabilitation order and was working with agencies to address drug issues. He said at the time Radford had been under pressure and had “a lapse” which she is sorry for.
Radford was made subject to a six-month conditional discharge and will pay costs of £105.
