A LAMPETER man has admitted that his dangerous driving caused the death of a Unison Ceredigion area organiser.
Jack Leon Isaac Weston, 22, had maintained until today that he was not guilty of causing the death of Roger Bevan in a collision on the B4337 Cilcennin to Cross Inn road on 14 July last year.
But Weston, of Tir Bach, Cilcennin, was back at Swansea Crown Court to change his plea to guilty.
Judge Peter Heywood immediately banned Weston from driving.
Weston will be sentenced on 10 October when a judge will also determine the length of the ban.
He was granted bail meanwhile, but warned that all sentencing options would be considered, including a prison sentence.
The fatal crash involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Honda Civic and Mr Bevan was declared dead at the scene.
