An Aberystwyth man has been fined after admitting a police officer.
Teifion Lewis, of Room 3, Ty Nesaf, Queens Road, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 2 May.
The 28-year-old admitted assaulting Pc Dowden at Aberystwyth Police Station on 30 June last year.
Lewis was fined £200 by magistrates and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
He must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £80.
