Two Birmingham men have appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre to face charges arising from an incident last October when a car was filmed apparently being driven at pedestrians on Aberystwyth seafront.
Police had been called to Marine Terrace just before 5am on Saturday, 5 October 2019.
It followed reports to police about a dark green car being driven on the walkway of the prom.
Richard Allen, 29, of 2 Church Road, Sheldon, is charged with three separate counts of assaulting Timothy Arthur-Darkwa, Peter Tarrant and Charlotte Massey by beating on 5 October.
He is also accused of damaging a police cell and failing to provide a specimen of breath on the same date.
His co-defendant, Darren George Dragoonis, 33, of 10 Milstead Road, Birmingham, is charged with assaulting Timothy Arthur-Darkwa by beating.
Both men were remanded on unconditional bail until 30 July.
Jack Paul Smith, 25, of 1 Fulwell Mews, Marston Green, Solihull, is also charged with assaulting Timothy Arthur-Darkwa by beating along with possessing 0.28g of cannabis and a public order offence.
