A Penygroes man has been found not guilty of assault following a trial.

Allan Humphreys, of 12 Trem Yr Wyddfa, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court for trial on 15 September.

The 72-year-old had pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing to one charge of assault in Penygroes on 26 March.

He was found not guilty at the trial and the case was dismissed.
