A LLANFAIR CLYDOGAU woman has been handed a community order after admitting assaulting a police officer, drug possession and criminal damage.
Florence Jenkinson, of Gwernfawr, appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on 15 November.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty at the hearing to the assault by beating of Pc Herron in Lampeter on 24 November.
She also admitted possessing 1.53 of herbal cannabis and damaging a pub sign in Lampeter to the value of £80 belonging to Lee Wells, both on the same day.
Jenkinson was handed a 12 month community order to include 90 hours of unpaid work along with a rehabilitation requirement.
Jenkinson was ordered to pay compensation for the damage to the pub sign.
She must also pay prosecution costs of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
