Please can I bring to the attention of the many dog owners in the area the numerous dog thefts that are taking place nationwide.

Unfortunately, dog-napping is a very lucrative way for criminals to make money and they will go to great lengths to acquire pets, either to sell on, or worse, to use for breeding and then sell on puppies.

Please don’t think ‘oh it won’t happen here’ because it does.Dogs are being stolen from owners’ gardens and even when dogs are being walked, attempts to steal them are being made.

Please dog owners, know where your dog is 24 hours a day and never leave your dog tied up outside a shop whilst you are inside.
