A BALA school has announced that its rugby shirts are to be sponsored by Bala Sailing Club.

Ysgol Godre’r Berwyn will have the Bala Sailing Club logo on the new shirts and have said the club were very keen on supporting the school.

A spokesperson for the school said: “A massive thank you to Bala Sailing Club for kindly sponsoring our new rugby shirts for the primary children.

“The new shirts look fantastic and the children are very eager for the opportunity to wear them soon!”

The spokesperson added: “Mr Mike Allen was very keen to support the school and encourages the children to be active in the community.

“Thank you very much for your generous contribution.”
