ABERYSTWYTH University has teamed up with the Marshal Papworth Fund to welcome Godfrey Apangu, from Uganda, onto the Fund’s 2015-16 scholarship programme to study a Masters in Food & Water Security.

Godfrey currently works as a Programme Coordinator for a local Non-Governmental Organisation.

He provides training & support to project staff and partners teaching them how to coordinate a number of different agricultural projects, helping to make the local community more sustainable.

When asked about his hopes for the coming year, Godfrey said : “I want to increase my knowledge so that when I return home I can develop a complete action plan, orient the management and organise the field staff to improve both food and water security in the community.”
