MOUNTAIN bikers are gearing up for a festive fundraiser in Blaenau Ffestiniog this weekend.

Antur Stiniog is preparing for its annual downhill bike ride, sponsored event at Llechwedd this Sunday, 13 December.

Competitors will be raising money for the Welsh Air Ambulance and over the past two years a similar event had raised over £7,000.

The bikers will be in fancy dress, including members of the Antur Stiniog staff and there will be fund raising events throughout the day, such as raffles, an auction and some charity head shaving.
