The current pandemic failed to stop members of Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service raising thousands of pounds for NHS Wales.

Eleven members of MAWWFRS were due to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats in early June.

Sadly, due to Covid-19 this fundraising challenge has been postponed until June 2021.

To mark the time that the team would have been undertaking the cycling challenge, they decided to cycle the combined distance of Land’s End to John O’Groats and back, from the comfort of their homes or as part of their daily exercise.

The challenge resulted in a combined mileage of 2,825 miles, raising a fantastic £3,070 for NHS Wales.

The group thanked everyone who supported the fundraiser, enabling the team to donate to such a worthy cause, in such unprecedented times.
