RESIDENTS are invited to join in a UK-wide commemoration of a murdered MP.

On Sunday, 18 June, a ‘great get together’ will be held across the country to celebrate the life of Jo Cox, who was murdered whilst campaigning in her constituency in Yorkshire last year.

A ‘bring your own picnic’ event will be held in Clwb Chwaraeon Madog, Porthmadog at 1pm with a series of activities and entertainment for young and old alike.

The fun day has been organised by refugee support group CEFN who are requesting that people bring clean underwear and teddies to donate to their latest appeal.
