A Social Dining Club has been set up to help bring people together in Tremadog.
Tremadog 200 Community group has set up the new Social Dining Club in association with the Royal Voluntary Service and Asda Foundation.
It offers a chance for all ages to meet monthly for home-made lunch and a good old natter.
The main aim is to reduce loneliness and bring the community together.
The next session is on Wednesday, 19 June, from noon until 2pm in the Institute Tremadog.
There is disabled access and facilities.
Sandra Bodden Jones and Jess Williams who volunteer said: “The response has been great, the afternoons fly by with so much chatting and eating.
“It’s been wonderful to meet older residents where our paths hardly meet due to work and family commitments.
“Laughter and a bellyful of good food, what could be better!
“We’re looking forward to the next one.
“It’s been lovely to have company while eating, and the quiche and crumble were delicious!
It’s been nice to meet new people and share stories.”
