LAURA Hughes celebrated her 104th birthday at Hafan y Waun, Waunfawr.

Mrs Hughes, formerly of Cambrian Street and Maes-yr-Afon, Aberystwyth, has two daughters, Gwenllian Wyn Jones and Marilyn Evans and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and is also a great-great-grandmother.
