Madam,

As an inhabitant of Gwynedd, I have received a leaflet from the Labour Party entitled ‘Taking Wales Forward’.

It lists all the ‘wonderful’ things the Labour Party is doing for Wales, although it fails to mention handing back some devolved powers from Wales to Westminster and cutting funding to local government. We in Gwynedd have to look forward to experiencing a £11m cut in council cervices.

No doubt, Labour’s leaflet will be sent to everybody in Wales and will cost quite a bit to print and distribute.

It’s a pity that the resources could not be spent on lessening the cuts to local government.
