A WREATH has been laid in Llanidloes to express condolences on the death of Prince Philip, whose funeral is today.

A spokesperson said: "The Ladies of the Royal British Legion Llanidloes Women’s Section, wished to honour the Naval Service of HRH Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh and offer our condolences to The Queen Patron of RBL on her sad loss. Rest in peace."

The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral will be broadcast across radio and TV on the BBC today (Saturday, 17 April). Coverage will begin ahead of the 3pm service.
