After having seen recently in the news regarding “frustration over hundreds of vaccine no-shows”, I feel it is my responsibility to defend some of those who may genuinely not be aware that they have been called to receive their vaccine.

I say this after I received not only one, but two letters both addressed to my residence, for two separate individuals in less than a fortnight inviting them to receive the vaccination.

Neither of these individuals live at this address and have not done so for many years, if at all!

So I wonder how many of these letters inviting individuals for the vaccination have been sent out to the wrong addresses and how many of these so-called “no shows” are by no fault of their own?

Name and address withheld
