THE CHRISTMAS dinner was held on 8 December at Tyglyn Hotel, Ciliau Aeron. The food was delicious, which members all ate with gusto. It was wonderful to have Melda join the group for the evening and everyone wished her all the best for her continuing treatment.Members also welcomed their new member, Diana May, who had a taste of what they get up to at meetings.As part of the evening’s celebrations, members received gifts from a Secret Santa. This month’s competition was for the prettiest Christmas apron, which was won by Margaret Vobe. Betty was the overall competition winner for the year. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 9 February, when the guest speaker will be Lesley Dever who will talk and demonstrate chair yoga.
