FUGS Celtic Challenge
THE FUGS (Falcon Users Golf Society) travelled to Arklow to play golf against the Bridge Golf Society to defend their Celtic Challenger Cup which they have retained over the past few years. Prior to the big match, the Fugs played their own competitions for the CDW Auto’s tour trophy at Enyscorthy golf club and Courtown golf club. The total points scored on these two courses added to the individual score during the match at Arklow Bay golf course, the trophy for most consistent golfer of the three days to Paul Haggart the Celtic challenger this year was won by the Bridge Hotel society by 464 points to 430 points.
