A TEAM of fighting-fit fundraisers are taking on an astronomical challenge to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Llamwyr Lleuad Llyn (Moon Striders of Llyn) are a group of Pwllheli women who will be trekking 26.2 miles around the UK capital this May to raise funds for breast cancer causes at MoonWalk London 2018.

One of the striders, Karen Rees Roberts, who climbed Snowdon in the dark last year to raise money for Macmillan, said: “We’ve created this team because we want to raise money and make a difference by participating in the MoonWalk London 2018.”

“Please help us by giving whatever you can.

“The more people who know about MoonWalk London 2018, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family.

“Most of Llamwyr Lleuad Llyn know someone who has had the illness. This is a good way to raise money, keep fit and have fun. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!”
