CYFARFU’R grwp ar 8 Ebrill ac fe chafwyd noson o helfa chwilod gan fod y siaradwr yn methu bod yn bresennol.Enillodd sawl un wobr er nad oedd llawer o raen ar y chwilod. Gwnaethpwyd trefniadau ar gyfer cyfarfod mis Mai pan fyddwn yn ymweld â bâd achub Porthdinllaen. Margaret roddodd y raffl ac Ella enillodd.

Golf club

THE CAERNARFONSHIRE Cup was held at Nefyn and District Golf Club on Saturday, 16 April.It was the first of a double-header weekend with April’s Monthly Medal contested on Sunday.In bright sunshine but blustery conditions, all the golfers found scoring difficult.The best scores were all over-par with Darren Williams prevailing with a creditable 31 points from John Richardson on 30 points. The third place was decided on countback as six players ended on 29 points, but Terry Hall came out on top.A small field of just 17 players enjoyed relatively calm conditions for the April Monthly Medal.G Alwyn Jones was the eventual winner with a par score.Peter Richards came second and Alwyn Robert was third on count-back from Brian Pavey.

Llyn Maritime Museum

ON SATURDAY, 30 April, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, there will be a coffee morning and book launch held at the museum.The English adaptation of Aled Eames’ book Gwraig y Capten, The Captain’s Wife, is being released.This will be accompanied by an exhibition entitled Captain Thomas Owen of Liverpool and Tudweiliog.All are welcome to attend.
