‘Timewatch’ readers will be interested in the new book, Porthmadog and Tremadog Historic Buildings.

The book, released last month, is by Porthmadog native, Martin Thomas, and follows on from his first, Porthmadog: Two Hundred Years - A Pictorial History.

“This one concentrates a bit more on the listed buildings, and buildings of interest and character in the area,” Martin explained.

“I have tried to cover most of the listed buildings in Porthmadog, Tremadog, Penmorfa and Portmeirion.

“I have also included historic and other buildings which have not been listed but are still as important to the area.

“I have also mentioned the buildings we have lost over the years.”

The book is available at Siop Eifionydd, Porthmadog.
