Holy Trinity Church
WEDNESDAY, 4 November: Holy Communion at 10am; choir practice in the church at 7pm. Sunday, 8 November: Service of Remembrance at 10am, followed by Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph at 11am. Wednesday, 11 November: Holy Communion at 10am.
Other churches
SUNDAY, 8 November: St Tyfriog’s Church, Llandyfriog; St Llawddog’s Church, Cenarth; and St Michael’s Church, Troedyraur, will join the Service of Remembrance at Holy Trinity Church at 10am.
Coffee morning
THE COFFEE morning in the Church Community Hall on Saturday, 7 November, will be hosted by St Llawddog’s Church, Cenarth from 10.30am to noon. Holy Trinity ChurchTHE PCC meeting will take place in the Church Community Hall on 10 November at 7pm.
Confirmation Service
A CONFIRMATION Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church on 17 January at 10.30am.
Over-50s Friendship Club
ON THURSDAY, 5 November, Diana Wil-liams from the Macular Society will talk to us. If you are interested in going to the meetings, just go along to the Catholic Church Hall on a Thursday at 2.15pm and meet the group.
Christian Spiritual Church
THE CHURCH meets at The Old Grammar School every Wednesday at 7.30pm followed by spiritual healing for those in need at no cost. Healing is provided by Healer Practitioner Association International-qualified and insured healers. Refreshments are provided after the service and all faiths are welcome.
Cawdor Hall Gallery
YSGOL Gyfun Emlyn’s ongoing display of work for the Young Enterprise team programme is housed at the gallery. The school has set up a company called Calon Cabatsien with the aim of creating and publishing a book that contains pupil’s anecdotes which have been collected by the teachers.Tried and tested recipes which have been created during the life skills cookery class will then be added to it. They aim to raise enough money to publish and print the book. Also on display is an exhibition of the school trip to Zambia this year where pupils spent time building homes for families affected by HIV. The next Local Organic and Fairtrade (LOAF) Fair is in the gallery on Saturday, 7 November, from 10am to 4pm.
