This morning I went for a bracing hike up Pendinas to get some healthy fresh air and exercise.

I noticed that the council has very recently put up a new sign on the gate. It reads: “Have your picnic at home. Stay home. Save lives.” So now eating al fresco on Pendinas is a potentially fatal activity!

I would use the word ‘ridiculous’ to describe the poster, only ‘sinister’ is far more accurate.

These scaremongering tactics are diabolical. Luckily for us they weren’t used during World War Two or we would have surrendered before a single shot was even fired.

Ask yourself, what purpose is being served by attempting to scare people witless so that they surrender control over their lives?

You are mistaken if you believe it is in order to keep you safe.
