ABERAID held a fundraiser for refugees at the Morlan Centre in Aberystwyth.

A grand total of £2,006.90 was raised on the day, which has been shared between Save the Children’s Child Refugee Crisis Appeal, Proactiva Open Arms lifeguards (working in the Greek Islands) and the Children’s E Hospital (linked to Great Ormond Street Hospital).

• A concert to raise money for Syria will be held at Aberystwyth Arts Centre next Tuesday, 15 December.

Christmas with Sgarmes takes place in the bar at 8pm and has been organised in association with Rum Aid. Donations will be taken on the door.
