Cambrian News reporter Patrick Hollis is starting to see some results from his Movember fundraising effort.
Every November, people take part in the fundraising event by growing a moustache of any shape or form to raise money and awareness of serious issues, such as men’s mental health.
Patrick (pictured), who is taking part this year for the first time, said: “It’s been a steady start.
“I’ve never really taken much notice of how slow my moustache actually grows but it’s still early days.
“I still feel like I’m at a blank canvas stage, so I’m still deciding what kind of style to adopt and push on with. I am past the uncomfortable stubbly phase which is always nice!
“It’s been great seeing the efforts of other people on social media and how people are still so generous even in uncertain times.”
He added: “I’ve raised £60 so far and I am very happy about that as the money will be going towards some great causes. I am grateful to everyone who has donated.”
