STAFF at a Meirionnydd nursing home have raised more than £1,000 for charity after cycling the length of Wales.

Careworkers at The Bay Nursing Home in Tywyn held a sponsored cycle event in the care facility last week and used two exercise bikes to ‘cycle’ 184 miles – the distance from Queensferry to Chepstow.

The money raised will be split between the nursing home’s Residents Fund and Macmillan Nurses.

The fund-raiser was just one of many exciting activities The Bay Nursing Home are involved with.
